Senator Jim Barcia of Michigan sponsored a bill which will allow bingo operators to raise their jackpots so that they could compete with casinos on equal ground. The Bill is already approved by both the Senate and the House, with only the final vote missing and Governor Granholms signature missing to make it legal and binding.
